Dredging and Hydro Mining - Slurry Blaster
Severely silted up ponds and reservoirs can impact on the water storage capabilities of a mine or plant, negatively affecting downstream processes.
Locally designed and engineered, the SlurrySucker Dredge is capable of extracting high tonnages due to the design and engineering of the dredge head.
This innovative dredge unit is suitable for dredging and cleaning water capture areas where silt or slimes is an issue or where water retention and water holding capacity is being threatened. With this dredge unit regular cleaning of process water ponds, return water dams or other water storage areas is made simpler and faster.
The introduction of the SlurrySucker Dredge into the company’s short and long term hire fleet will assist mines in on-going maintenance .
Slurry Blaster
The SlurryBlaster is an effective hydro mining Solution for the removal of slurry and sediment accumulation on dam walls and inside dams. Using SlurryBlaster, slurry and other unwanted materials can be blasted into an accumulation point where a suitable pump is situated. The material is then pumped out of the dam or any specific location as specified by the client.
SlurryBlaster Model 1
The SlurryBlaster Model 1 uses a water tank weight in order to safely secure it to the surface/ground. Water can then be drained in order to move the SlurryBlaster to the next location. The SlurryBlaster model 1 frame is a single steel structure welded together.
SlurryBlaster Model 2
SlurryBlaster model 2 that utilises sand weight sections that can be removed and relocated to the next location. The SlurryBlaster Model 2 is completely modular and can be disassembled for easy transport and if blasting location is hard to reach via vehicle
